Just received the "TV2 client version 2.1.2295.10" update at 1 am, Central Ohio/Columbus market, today (11/14).
Will have to look through things to see what's changed.

Could it be for the wireless STB's?

Got the update in the wee hours of Nov 14th here in the Indy area. Not much is noticeably different so far, except that the response time of the STBs to commands from the remotes is greatly improved.

Just curious: Any luck yet with your TV issues?

Hope it clears in a few days, and will sit tight.

Yes, as predicted, it has healed itself...so far.
Thanks for asking.

Southeastern Wisconsin - Received the update on Nov 22 and it's worked well for the past week. Remote response time is returned to normal and the "exit to TV" problems haven't occurred since the update.

Update came through tonight in the Chicago area, and reponsiveness (channel changing time, time for menus to appear) is very clearly improved.
There hasn't been enough time to know if it will slow down again and require periodic power cycling to refresh it. But for now it feels just as peppy as when I first got Uverse (almost like the good old days of changing between analog, unencoded channels).

Thinking back, I'm pretty sure this update is what caused my closed captioning freezing and disappearing altogether problem--in Orange County, CA "at the crush".
-"Time Warner Cable (sucks)"- does suck but ATT has reached their last chance.
Edit -- added location.
