When will U-verse get slow motion and single frame advance? I've had my total home dvr system since July 2009 and was told by the installer is was coming soon. This technology has been available in VHS/VCRs for 30 years or more. It is available on all the competitor's systems. Why can't we get it?

There have been no announcements or rumors about adding slow motion or frame by frame advance to U-verse.

Well the phase 3 update added an attempt at slow motion (my opinion) but it advances at about 1.5 seconds, not per frame as your probably looking for. No one knows if or when it might happen.

I refer you to Texas Guy's post above.

When MS announces those changes have been made to their Media Room architecture, it will be showing up on Uverse as it runs on Media Room. ![]()

REALLY hope they fix this soon! I've had slow motion & frame advance on VHS since 1984. I was told my the salesman that the DVR worked "just like a VHS". LIAR. I was so badly mislead by the salesman about the abilities and features of this system, I don't know where to start.

Unfortunately some of the CSRs don't have Uverse and are reading from some kind of script and other than that they don't know anything about how the service works. I suggest from this point on if you have any questions about the service come here to the forum and post it.
