We've had U-verse for a little under two months and it has not been very pleasant. Starting about four weeks ago, our main DVR receiver would just randomly delete all the recordings for no reason. It seemed to happen on a weekly basis. So att tells us they'll send us a new box. We got our new box, but before we could install it our old box pops up with "client unprovisioned".
Tech support asks us to try a few different things to try to get it working, but nothing works. Service tech comes out, tries installing new box, but it also comes back with client unprovisioned. This was last Thursday. He had to call some other tech in magic land who was supposed to have it fixed no later than last Friday. Flash forward 96 hours and still nothing. To top it all off it seems as though our package was downgraded for no reason as we lost our premium channels and hd channels friday night. Have tried calling customer service three times since Friday and get the standard, "what's the problem?, we'll call you when it's working, blah blah blah".
Has anyone had similar experiences? Is there another number I can call that will actually result in something besides people telling me the same thing over and over after I had already told them the exact same thing?

Contact David, who is an AT&T employee in Tier 2 Technical Support. He and his group have been successfully with resolving customer issues that remain unresolved after contacting Technical Support.
