I recently got the Uverse wireless receiver and I would like to remove the splitter in the cable and replace it with a double female connector. Does anyone know where I can get a connector that is weather proof (cable is on outside of house) and will work with Uverse?
P.S. When Uverse was initially installed the technician replaced a double female connector that was already in my cable run with an AT&T one so I'm assuming it needs to have a certain rating to work well with Uverse.

Thanks, I just wasn't sure if there was a special weather proof version since the one AT&T put in had a rubber or plastic sorta seal over it and I couldn't find anything similar at any of the home improvement or electronics stores.

If you're going to use a barrel, remove the rubber covers from the splitter and use those to enclose the barrel as you seat the connectors which will make sure it remains as weathertite as possible. Also, when selecting a barel, make sure it is rated for at least 3 Ghz which usually means its for satellite services.
