Looking at switching to U-verse TV / phone from DirecTV (already have U-verse internet) and had a few hardware / configuration related questions.
1) Can I connect the DVR to my home Ethernet network, or does there have to be a dedicated line from the RG?
2) Are the HDMI and Optical SPDIF outputs active at the same time? I'd be connecting HDMI to my TV and SPDIF to my receiver.
