I have the Premium Usage Meter feature in my UV Realtime program. I am attaching two screen shots, One covering a month period and one covering just a 24 hour period. This shows that after just seven days, March 24-31, I have a total usage of 748.6 GB of usage. This just cannot be true unless something is piling up usage without my knowledge. Perhaps I don't understand what is going on here. I have four TVs, usually not more than two on at a time and two PCs, both on line for e-mail and browsing non streaming video sites. From the charts, it looks like something started happening in week 11 and after a short break continued again in week 12 & 13.
Any ideas what could be causing this usage reading?

1. The UV Realtime usage meter REQUIRES you to hook up your home network in one of a few different specific ways. These methods are detailed in the UV Realtime documentation (Start Menu -> Programs -> UV Realtime -> Main Documentation) on page 24.
Do you have your home network connected in one of these 4 ways?
2. UV Realtime will only produce accurate graphs in the Usage meter if it is running 24/7 or nearly 24/7. (The usage total will be accurate if it is not running 24/7, but the graph will have block-like areas like yours do).

My best guess is that UV Realtime sometimes uses the total usage for the period for each sub-period instead of dividing by the number of lost sub-periods to come up with an average.

1. My network is like Case 1, all wired. However I do not have an ethernet switch. I have the coax distribution via a splitter to three TV sets in the house. RG Ethernet connections 1 and 2 are wired CAT5 runs to individual PCs. Connection 3 goes to the DVR and connection 4 goes to a Blue Ray disk player. The disk player is almost always turned off as it was when the two snap shots were taken.
2. I do not have Real Time running 24/7, so I understand the graph problem, but the usage total appears to greatly inflated. I do not know what the AT&T max usage target is before they consider it excessive usage. Maybe I am OK?

For your network, you need an Ethernet switch uplinked to RG port #1. Into the Ethernet switch, plug in both computers and the Blu-Ray player. Plug your DVR directly into the RG, it can stay in Ethernet port #3.
Once you've done this, switch the Usage meter "Router Interface Used for Ethernet" to Ethernet 1, which corresponds to the RG port that feeds the switch. Then reset the RG, and it will begin to count usage accurately.
AT&T is currently not imposing any usage limitation for U-Verse users. While they announced a limit of 250 GB in May 2011, that limit is not currently being enforced nor is AT&T providing a meter for it (which they would have to do before enforcing the limit).
