I have been a U-Verse Customer for about 3 years now. There are 2 buttons on my remote and arn't working. One is the last button, it hasn't worked in about a year and the other is the pause button. I still sorta works. You have to push really really hard on it. From my understanding you can't just swap out your remote. You have to buy a new one. Am I understanding this correctly? Thanks for any help...

Call Technical Support at the number shown in my signature, and request a replacement remote.

Some folks have suggested approaching a field tech if you see one.
If you must buy one, consider a Logitech Harmony model 200 for $20 at your local Radio Shack.

When I had a problem with one of my three remotes (not that many months ago), I called CS and the rep not only offered me a replacement, she sent three new remotes with no charge and no questions--I didn't even have to ask. This may not be the normal policy, but I think a lot of subscribers have had a similar experience. It's worth a call!
