Ive tried programming my remote to control my Bose home theatre system and it doesn't work! On screen offers two code numbers, it seems to accept each one, but still doesn't work. Any suggestions out there?

You can also try the App on your TV:
Menu > Help > System Setup > Program Your UV Remote
Take a look at these posts for other codes that might work:

YankeeGirl103 - Some codes are very hard to find - like Bose. But, that is just the first step.
HT adds another layer of complexity. When the TV is programmed in the remote it is ALWAYS used for volume. You need to recode to change it to the HT (if you will ALWAYS use the HT for sound). Or, recode to select which device controls sound based on the mode key. This is not very friendly because it separates chan change (att) from volume (HT or TV).
HT really demands a Logitech Harmony remote model 600 or above. These have multiple activities to allow you to automatically turn on appropriate power and set TV input to correct source.
You can have a watch TV with TV sound & a watch TV with HT sound. each one sets ip correctly & uses the same volume button seamlessly.
