Does the remote control features on the updated U-Verse iPhone app only work with wireless U-verse receivers?

No, all your receivers, both wired and wireless, can be controlled with the remote control feature of the U-verse App for iPhone.

I believe my iPhone is connected to the same wireless gateway as my wired U-Verse receivers. How can I verify that and what should I do if they are on the same gateway.

Did you go to channel 9301 on each U-verse receiver that you want to control to do the setup? Also, are you using a 3rd party router attached to the U-verse RG?

I am in the process yet cannot complete the setup as I get the following error "Failed to retrieve connection mode".
Besides trying again later, what else can I do?

Are you getting that error message on channel 9301?
By the way, were the answers to my 2 questions in my previous message "No" and "No"?
