802.11n router with 3800HGV-B gateway

Hi everyone -- If I were to purchase an 802.11n wireless router and disable the wireless in my 2wire Uverse gateway -- would I see any faster speeds from the gateway to the rest of the internet, or would I just be speeding up my connection from a wireless device to the router? If the former, then I think it would be worth it. If the later, then probably not. I'm just not sure what the speed of the connection from my gateway to the rest of the internet is...

I doubt you'll see much of an increase. We use an *n* router here, but only 1 computer has that capability and it's not that noticeable.

But if you have Wi-Fi problems in your home (like we do, and some other folks), you're better off with another router behind the UV RG.
