My AC is out right now and I'm wondering if the ambient temperature in the room the RG is in can affect it's performance. I just had to reset it because everything went out. After reset, it's fine. Also, we have storms in the area, will this affect UVerse going on and off?
Thanks!

Um, yes. Several people have reported issues when not properly ventalated/cooled. The DVR/STB's are heat sensitive as well.

Best is to have it standing vertically for heat dissapation, if laying down it can get hot and cause problems. Where my RG is it can get upto 90° or higher and suffers no problems in it's vertical position for me. ![]()

My RG is in a room that isn't airconditioned. I had the door closed so that heat wouldn't flow from that room into the rest of the house. Late one day when temps were in the low 100s my wireless connection started going in and out. I checked the RG and it looked ok, but I left the door open and as the room cooled down it began functioning properly.
