I have become upset at my daughter for using her ipod touch at 2am in teh morning and i want to be able to block her connection to the internet. I thought using MAC filter in the settings would block it but it doesnt seem to work. Is there any other way?
Thankyou
Tim

Well, besides the fact that AT&T's gateways are about the only units on the market that do not have parental controls, the MAC filter should work. You could also just manually turn off the wireless at night.
Or.... just take away the iPod.

You could call CS and ask them to change your password. She won't be able to access the network when the password is changed.

Do you really need to call CS to change the password? Shouldn't you be able to change it from the RG itself?

Right, and you can change the password itself. Type in 192.168.1.254, click on the wireless icon, change the wireless network key to manual, enter desired password, press save at the bottom of the page.
The RG gui will prompt you for a system password, which is located on a sticker to the lower left hand side of your modem.
ATT released Smart Controls as well, which may be something to check out. As the website quotes, "Help your children manage their time online, set timers and filter emails and web content. Receive online activity reports with alerts when users attempt to tamper with restrictions."
I unfortunately don't have much experience with that tool and am not sure if it's only limited to control individual PC's or if it's actually used to control the network.
