Here lately my two receivers in the bedrooms keep losing the UVERSE. I go in the living area where the main receiver is and the router homepna light isn't on. I restart the router and the lights come on and it all connects .... TEMPORARILY ... For maybe a couple of hours and it starts all over... is there something wrong with the router???

How are your STBs connected, coax or rg6? If it's coax, check all your connections, back of the box, wall connection. Check your RG's connection to the rest of the house. My 3 yo had loosened the wall connection from the RG to the outlet that feeds the rest of the house and that was causing issues.
If that doesn't work, it may be an issue with the RG. First try powering it off and waiting 30 seconds then powsering i back on. If you still have issues, then I'd have a tech come check/replace the RG.
