Something is causing this cause the other INID wouldn't reboot automatically and sometimes the internet would never come back unless I rebooted it myself now it is the opposite. And now the TV has been acting up more and more. So what you saying is it has rebooted 3 times because the 3 dsl training errors? Now sometimes the NID, Broadband and serivce lights don't go out but the internet still does.

They are not needed with UV Internet, and the installer did not remove them either?

That is correct. The only one the installer removed was when he came back cause of an issue he removed the one where the router is when he swapped the router out

If you have just one phone line (one number), all the jacks are interconnected.

I am hoping the internet problem is fixed 100% As the 5th technician was out today to fix the issue. He replaced the router along with a data cable from the router to the wall jack and also replaced the Power supply unit and also fixed some wiring that he didn't like. There were wires wrapped around the cat5e wire and he said the way it was it was like creating a antenna and that would cause interference and he also changed the butterfly connectors with a better kind for the data wires in the ceiling and he also changed the location of the PSU from on top of the tv to somewhere else as the tech I was emailing said the tv was giving off EMI and causing the INID to lose connection and causing it to reboot. I hope all of the things that were done today fixes the problem 100% as we have only had Uverse for about 3 weeks now. Below is a picture showing where I moved the PSU as it used to be behind the tv on the floor. I only put it on top of the tv for easier access in case I needed to reboot the INID. The tech told me today If I have to ever reboot it to do it on the box on the outside it works a lot better. I am pretty surprised the tech let me do most of the work on my pc. He must have felt I have a good understand of computers and the internet.

Well I am back again.
Just wondering what would make the download speed decrease so much earlier it was 11.57MBPS and upload 1.19MBPS. Please see screen shot of the current speed test I just ran. Would this be a new issue causing this problem?

Does anyone know why the line cap is so high? Having internet issues again. We now only have uverse internet seeing AT&T lied to us saying we could get old DSL back when we really couldn't so we were forced to get internet that will not stay working.

I seem to recall David's team was working on your system, did they come to a dead end? ![]()
Yeah, they should have been up-front about DSL.
What does your Bitloading tab look like?

Here is the bit loading screen shot. Also something else I noticed the vrad distance changed from 400 to 3900
Look at this screen shot the recommended profile has changed as well if you look at the screen shot I posted lastnight not sure if any of that matters.
Look at the last screen shot it said the vrad was about 300 feet away. Also in that screen shot the recommended profile said no service. Not sure how that happened cause the internet wasn't working and it usually can't connect to the router when the internet isn't working.

I think they may have actually fixed it they put in a shielded ground from the pole to the house cause they said there was interference from radio stations etc. They tested the ground and they said it is very poor but buy them using a shielded ground they said it would improve the ground and it did. When U-verse was put in the ground was never hooked up inside the house was just hooked up to the INID. How could a installer never ground there equipment??

If grounding fixes your problem, great. If you would like, post the way your Bitloading tab looks now. In fact, it would be interesting to see each of your two pairs in isolation. I think if you press the "1" key while looking at that display it will do just the first line, and press "2" to get the second line.

These graphs definitely look better.
How's your service now?

Here is the current error table. So far it is so good I hope it will stay up longer than 4 days now. I was told the reason why the inid was rebooting on its own is because after so many errors it crashes and reboots to start fresh again.

Well, that's better. Most of your "bad" events happened right after RG boot. You still have had some uncorrectable errors, but not for 8 hours before that last snapshot. 133 seconds out of 2+ days, gives you 99.945% uptime.

I am guessing this is bad look at the FEC rate I never seen it this high before.

I know the first 2 screen shots are old but just look at them. I am looking for input.
Look at corrected blocks for line 1 above
Look at corrected blocks for line 2 above
Here is the most recent screen shot of both lines. Looking for input.

You are still getting some errors, but "serious" errors are hours apart, and you haven't retrained since about the time you last rebooted. You've gotten so many FEC's that the combined number exceeds something's ability to handle the large number.
The good news is that an FEC means that the error was caught and the correct data was resynthesized by the RG, so it might as well not have happened. That's why there are so many extra bits allocated for transmission and transmission gets interleaved.

Yesterday was the first time the internet went out but doesn't look like uv real time showed it I never saw anything under last 15 mins for dsl unavailable. But it happened when the phone rang.
