We use U-Verse in our office for Internet. We have a very limited number of users, but some seem to not get the message that we do not allow the use of certain websites and IM on our network. We have an NVG510 which has not capacity to "Black List" websites. On other DSL modems I have used them as pure dumb, pass throughs to an intelligent router with firewall capabilities. Is this possible with the U-Verse modem?

Yes. You can get your own router or firewall and put it in what is called "DMZplus mode" from the RG.

Since you are commercial, you'd have to pay for this, but might be just you want:
