Ok guys,
Whats up with this, the serial number on the actual router is different from the serial number that is in the IP router menus. And I don't know the password to change something, and says System password on label, and that one doesn't work. And I'm pretty it's because that two serials are different, so what can I do?

There should be a reset button on the back of the i38HG, pressing this will reset the router to factory default settings, however, you will lose any custom settings you have entered. If this does not work then you may have to call TS.
Here is the user guide for the i38HG. http://www.att.com/support_media/images/pdf/uverse

Yea, I know. But the default password is linked to the serial number, and it is different on the actual router, than in the software. So the software thinks I have a different router, than I have so the password on the router won't work.

1. The iNID itself (i3812V), which is on the outside of your house where the phone lines come in. This is actually where the router and the routing logic is located.
2. The i38HG unit, which is just a wireless access point and a 4-port Ethernet switch.
3. The battery backup unit.
For the iNID setup, the serial number and default password for the system are located on the battery backup unit, not on the i38HG. Please look for a white sticker on the battery backup unit and see if that lets you into the web interface of the iNID at http://192.168.1.254.

I wonder if the other serial number that is showing up is for the iNID itself, and not the unit inside that your computers connect to. The power supply doesnt have any serial numbers, just the system password
