Got the new wireless receiver and it installed and worked fine. Then I noticed the other tv's in the house were pixelating...and the Internet slowed down. Turn off the wireless receiver and all the other tv's and Internet were fine. Tech came out yesterday and said the signal to the house was great. Since my main hub is original (4.5 years old?) he and I originally suspected that was the issue as it was never designed to work with the latest equipment. Changed it out...started up the wireless receiver and all was well. Then we walked over to the kitchen and sure enough, pixelated picture. Tech was dumbfounded as he claims the addition of the wireless receiver should have nothing to do with anything else coming out of the hub...but it seems as almost there was a bandwidth issue when the wireless receiver was on. Simply had him replace the wireless with the hard wired receiver and all is well, but wondering if anyone out there has answers as to what might have happened?
Did they try replacing the ethernet cable that feeds the access point for the wireless receiver (or the access point or receiver)?
How are all the other receivers connected to the gateway?
How are your computers and other devices connected to the gateway?

All other receivers connect via coax.
All was checked and seem to be in line.

Tech was out due to an issue with wireless tv receiver. Thought the issue was the gateway, so he changed out my original (4.5 year old) 2Wire module to a new 2Wire 3801HGV.
Ever since, I am havong consistent connection issues...devices don't automatically want to connect or have a hard time connecting.
XBox in particular...finally set it up manually with it's own IP, but always dropping out and then losing connection...same thing is happening with iPhones, iPads, etc.
Never changed a setting on the old module and everything just worked...now that I have the new one, nothing seems to work consistently.
HELP!

Restarts useing "reset" button and unplugging did nothing....but a "reset to factory default" restart has seemed to fix all issues.....everyone is now having a very merry Christmas on their iPads and the Xbox!

Okay...after multiple attempts at restarting and having the same issues, woke up Christmas morning and went for a full factory reset as mentioned in another post.
All four iPads, two iPhones, two iTouches, Xbox and wireless PC are connected and working.....so, don't press reset button, don't unplug and replug....a full-blown "reset to factory defaults" restart was required....whatever...it's working now.

Okay...I spoke too soon...I hate this thing.
I won't even recognize or assign an IP address to my new wireless printer and is now having issues with my second PC in the same room using wireless.
I've also noticed that the signal is not as strong as my older unit.
How can a brand new piece of equipment perform so poorly?
Going into the configuration on this PC (hardwired) shows me nothing that will help the situation as it does not even recognize/show the two pieces of wireless equipment I am trying to connect to the network.

Download UVRT at http://www.uvrealtime.com
Post screenshots of these tabs:

Note: If you are a Mac user, this program only works on Windows OS at this time.
