thanks
anyone know if there is a way to disable the internet distribution from the gateway for a specified period of time?
we have a teen who likes to surf after we go to bed....
could disable the gateway nightly, but can't imagine that's the best/a good idea.
plus want to keep phone and tv active.

"Ren: Now listen, Cadet. I've got a job for you. See this button? Don't touch it! It's the History Eraser button, you fool!
Stimpy: So what'll happen?
Ren: That's just it. We don't know. Maybe something bad, maybe something good. I guess we'll never know, 'cause you're going to guard it. You won't touch it, will you?"

Take away his computer if you don't want them surfing when they are supposed to be.

If the above does not work you can always use the remote desktop hack. http://odetocode.com/blogs/scott/archive/2006/04/1
Which not only would not allow a connection but shut down the computer kinda a last resort. I still believe in a firm I said so.
