I switched from DSL to U-verse the other day, now when I go to some websites they will not load in Safari and some will only load part way " __ errors occurred in opening the page. For more information, choose Window > Activity " and then it says something like " 62 of 71 items(! " . Most webpages I can open don't contain the Jpeg images, just a ? . I'm a photographer and not seeing the images makes it hard to update my website. I never had this problem with the DSL line. I thought I found a work around on the Mac forms, something about switching a DNS thing, but now I can't open the Mac forms website. So far this U-verse is a pain in the _____ !

So now I'm on Firefox and .......
"Server not found"
Firefox can't find the server at www.________
# Check the address for typing errors such as
ww.example.com instead of
www.example.com
# If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.
# If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
U-verse is rocking my world !!!!!

If you have a secondary setting - 8.8.8.4.
Also, try chrome for browser to get faster response.

I'm not the Answer Guy, sorry, but I too have intermittant problems with loading webpages on three different computers after being forced by AT&T to convert from the old High Speed Internet DSL to U-verse. They sent me the Motorola NVG510 gateway (albeit late after disconnecting my old DSL three days earlier...another story). My problem is that sometimes I get "Cannot Find Server" when changing to a new webpage or the page comes in unformatted with only its text showing. Sometimes, just clicking the reload icon will bring things in correctly. Maybe someone can clue me in to where this problem comes from and the solution?

As was stated above use one or more of those DNS or try Open DNS.

I've tried Safari and Chrome. i've tried the Google dns servers--8.8.8.8. I'm still getting broken images & incomplete web pages. i see that this problem goes back to at least 2004. Anybody have any more possible solutions?
