My very old flash.net e-mail account was compromised a couple of months ago. I could not access the account and since it was an old account, no security questions were ever set up, as far as I can remember. At least when I tried to reset the password, that's what the automatic reply indicated. I went online looking for some other solution and found an 800 number to call. The person was from another country and told me there was nothing that could be done and tried to sell me software that would prevent this from ever happening again. I declined. I finally gave up, but there was an email from AT&T to my alternate e-mail address from that indicated they knew about my compromised account and that I would need to reset the password. I was busy at the time and couldn't take care of this matter at that moment. However, when I returned the next day to try to resolve things, the e-mail was no where to be found. I am totally perplexed. Is there anything that can be done to help me. I have very important documents in my old e-mail account from parents since deceased.
