I thought "max turbo" is the fastest offered by AT&T, or is that what you have/had at your old address.

Can you download and install SomeJoe's tool at the link below?
http://www.uverserealtime.com/
Once you install the tool, please post screenshots of the following tabs from your new residence: IP/Profile, Error Table, Bitloading, & Coax/HPNA.
We can take a look at the screenshots to see what profile it appears that your new location should support.

Khadafi, it might not be so much your "area" as you think of it, but your distance (as the wires serving your home travel) from the VRAD that serves your new house. The suggestion that you install and run SomeJoe's UVRealTime tool is a good start to figuring this all out.

Thanks for posting the screenshots!
Your Max Rate indicates that you can only support the 25/2 line profile. The 32/5 line profile is needed for the Max Turbo (24/3) internet package. With the 25/2 line profile, you should be able to get the Max Plus (18/1.5) internet package.

As TG has said, your current connection won't support the bandwidth needed for the 24 Mbps package. At the estimated distance of 2,300 feet from the VRAD, this is not too suprising. Your previous home was probably closer to its VRAD.
t may be possible that your line conditions could be improved to get you over 40 kbps raw data (from 38.3 you have now), but after that if conditions deteriate, you could have signal problems making you downgrade again to get good service. The 3801 handles a bad line better than the 3600/3800, but it hides information in the bitloading graph that helps us see a few well known line problems.
18 Mbps is a lot of bandwidth. The only reason I'd consider 24 Mbps is for the upload upgrade (from 1.5 to 2.0).

You might as well only pay for the 12Mbps plan as your tv will probably be cutting in on the 18Mbps plan quite often.
