Just got Uverse ADSL2+ Installed and there is no option to add Uverse Voice

I have the motorola NVG-510 and there is no option to add the uverse voice service to the mix.

Is U-verse voice available at your residence? It requires a VDL gateway as opposed to the ADSL gateway that you have now.

If I remember correctly, you can get upto 12M internet + Uvoice on IPDSLAM ADSL 2/2+ if you are w/in the distance limitations. Can't check at dslreports as they've only had posts upto to 2010 due to disk problems for the last week. ![]()

To clarify, ADSL2/2+ has cVoIP options available for consumer use in CT only. I have a terrible memory but it was released about 6-8 months ago. Honestly though, you aren't going to want it in it's current state. From my experience, the techs in field don't even know how to set this up properly and result to splicing the wires (leaving them hanging) and plugging the phone side into a separate jack to get whole house ring to work.
