My Experience w/ATT UVERSE

When I originally signed up for for UVERSE I was pretty excited about the service as a colleague of mine raved about it. It took 30 days for someone to come out and install the service, I live in Austin, TX.
When the technician left, he didn't clean up after himself and left his cutting, wires and a tool behind. Nonetheless we were pretty excited to start watching TV. The programs were great, the HD channels were clear.
I then wanted to install an additonal box in my bedroom, the next possible date I could get was 11/13, which was approx 30 days from the date of my call.......OK......
The technician doesn't show up, they don't call, nothing.
I call again and set up another installation for 12/11, another four weeks from my last installation, no one knew what happened or why the person never showed the only thing AT&T could tell me was that someone had "canceled" the appt without reason, they couldn't tell who cancelled it either.........
No one shows up AGAIN, no call no show. At this point I am pretty pissed, about to cancel, and the person I speak to (TJ) at AT&T tells me who much he values me as a customer and that he was going to make it right, he gives me his boss' number Brenda Williams 800-XXX-XXXX ext XXXXX and tells me that she's going to call me to confirm an installation for the very next Monday. Brenda never called me, so I called Brenda, and called, and called and left three messages......noting from Brenda.
As of 12/31 I have canceled my AT&T Uverse and Internet service, the tv service is great, the customer service is inept. Had I known I would need to wait over 60 days for one additonal reciever in my house, I would never have left Time Warner Cable, which is where I am going back to.

Hey Jim, WOW you must be a genius, on top of that you also must work in AT&T's customer service department. So b/c I did not install of my tv's the first time everything that's happened has been my fault?
