I activated my Uverse VOI and nothing......The caller ID shows up on the TV but there is no sound over the phone.
The technician that came to do the Uverse install said everything was ready and that all I had to do was call in to activate the VOI service on May 18th.
Is there something I have to do to get a dial tone/phones to work?

Is your phone plugged directly into the U-verse gateway?
