I had a 2wire connected to uverse and wanted a separate network using the same connection. I think I set the ip of the wrt54g to 192.168.2.1, gateway mode, and dhcp enabled. All was well until I wanted a higher connection speed, and as a result, at&t sent me a nvg510 and all seemed to work well. The speed definitely increased, and it seemed that my wrt54g sub network was working as well. Then suddenly I could no longer get the wrt54g to connect to the internet. I swapped the nvg510 out and replaced it with the 2wire and, again, it worked like a charm. So again, I switched the modem/router back to the nvg510 and again, it was a no go.
Does anyone know what the problem is or what configuration changes I need to make to get both networks working again with the nvg510 behind the wrt54g?
