Hello,
I live in a small apartment and I recently started installing my AT&T Internet Uverse (self installation) (rather, brother installation!)
Neither phone jacks seem to respond to the uverse system. A red blinking light appears next to the broadband area. I'd really rather not have to have maitenance come out or have AT&T come out (I've already taken several days off work since for the move!) so I'd love for any suggestions on how to best fix this!
Thanks!

Has U-verse provisioned your services? You should call Technical Support at the number shown in my signature.

Living in an appartment is one time I would not recommend a self-install. FOr a self install process, the AT&T install tech only takes the service to the NID, and he doesn't connect the lines from there into your dwelling. THis means you need to go to where ever your NID is for your appartment and connect the wires that lead to your appartment to the to the line module for your U-Verse service.
I don't know of any appartmeny complexes that let the tennants have access to that area because they could easily cause problems for many residents in a short time...
