U verse VPN

finally got my VPN to work with Uverse and it was so simple after reaching the right person. after wasting 2.5 hours of going around in circles and ATT telling me they won't support VPN connection. you must get to the modem setup, go to firewall and select passthrough. once that is complete you should be able to get to your VPN as long as you remember this:

The computer you are trying to get passthrough (connected to VPN) must be the first computer to gain access to the router.

if you do ipconfig it should have an ip address starting 99.
