Uverse Internet service keeps dropping

Hi, recently I upgrade from ADSL to U-verse 12Mb. When I placed the order, I chose to have only modem delivered because I have a Cisco wireless router which I still want to keep.

However, as I set it up and connect to my router, I experienced randomly Internet disconnection no matter what I was doing at the time. It happened so frequently like once per 5 minutes!

The model of the Modem is 2210-02-1ATT, could you give me some suggestsion how to troubleshoot?

I think you're going to need to use the ATT-provided router for your service. Are you using Ethernet (hard-wired) only, no Wi-Fi?
