Hey guys,
I recently received Uverse service for internet and home phone. The problem i'm having currently is that my wifi network is up and running, but about every 20 minutes or so, it'll drop internet connection on my girlfriend and I's iOS devices (iphone, ipad, etc.) It will still be connected to my SSID, but pages won't load like there is no signal coming in. Is there anything I can try to fix this? There is nothing in between the RG and our devices, so interference is not a likely suspect.
Help please? This is EXTREMELY aggrevating.
Thanks!

Go to the page below (if you haven't accessed it before, you'll need the password on the sticker on your UV RG--modem/router--bottom/side edge).
http://192.168.1.254/xslt?PAGE=C_2_1
Make sure the WIRELESS CHANNEL is NOT set to Auto. Pick another Channel and hit Save at the bottom.
To find out which channels your neighbors are using, download inSSIDer .(If you are running all Apple machines, inSSIDer won't work.)
Find a channel that is not being used by many, and/or one that is not overlapping others on the graph.
For SECURITY--AUTHENTICATION TYPE, are all devices set the same as the UV RG? WPA2 is the most secure (at this time) and recommended. All devices should have the same password as the RG.
Detailed info about Wireless Interference can be found in this post.

Alright, I have done all of this, except i didn't know how to check what everyone else was on. I had 4 people on the same channel I was. I'll give it a shot on chanel 1, where no one was and see how it works. In the mean time, is ther any reason one computer would show only my network on inSSIDer, and my other laptop would show about 15 networks? Could the wifi card in my desktop be going out?

This exact same thing happens to me. I have all Apple devices. I used a wifi scanner and saw everyone around me using channel 6. So I moved from channel 6 to channel 1. Still have the issues.
Without fail, internet dies at exactly 20 minutes.. it's so accurate, I could set my watch to it. I don't understand how it's possible. Wifi dies for my entire house. Lasts about a minute and it's back again.
pings die 100% during this outage.. when it's back, it's back 100%. I never see a period of moderate packet loss or high ping times. it's all or nothing.

I just went through some upgrades and my RG was replaced. I had the black one and they replaced it with the same (sorry, I don't know what the model number is). My wifi was pretty much useless. I couldn't walk away more than 3 ft. and would lose connection.
Long story short, a tech brought me the larger silver RG (again, I don't know what the model is/was). He said that the black RG is notorious for having bad wifi....at least a refurbished one and 'most of them are refurbished'.
