I recently bought a Polk 6000 soundbar that has a wireless subwoofer. Whenever I try to stream netflix wirelessly to my tv I keep losing the netflix service. I had no problems with streaming before connecting the soundbar. I have been reading customer reviews on the soundbar and many have suggested to bring up the router's configuration screen and change the channel setting. Currently both are set for channel one.
I have uverse 12mbps. How would I go about changing the channel?

Hi,
This article should help <http://support.2wire.com/?page=view&article=60>
This shows you how to access your modem and how to get to the correct screen. It shows in the screen shot what it will look like. Please use the drop down for channel to change it to something different. Please let me know if this helps.
Thank you,
JustinF

Hi,
Yes, the process is still the same. Please use Safari to access the GUI using 192.168.1.254 and all the steps are the same.
Thank you,

I changed my router's channel to 11 and netflix still needs rebuffering about every 20 minutes and sometimes just disconnects. Any suggestions besides taking the soundbar back.

Hi,
I apologize you are still having the issue. Please also check the power output setting and set it to 10 if needed to make sure the connection doesn't drop. Also please disconnect the soundbar and make sure you are not having the issue when it is disconnected. If you find that the soundbar is the issue and you have changed the channel/power settings there is no other settings we can change in the modem to try and resolve the issue. Unless there is a way to change the soundbar channel to try and find a different channel for the device that will make them work properly together. Please let me know if this helps.
Thank You,
JustinF

My power output settings are from 25 to 400. The default is 400 so I've left it.
Thanks for all your help- will probably just disconnect the soundbar whenever we watch netflix.

I would exchange the soundbar for a wired model, the issue did not exist before the introduction of the soundbar and there's no reason you should have to sacrifice decent sound just when you need it most, for movies. Or you could hard wire the TV to your router.
