I've always thought it might be a possiblity...and then they can keep customers until/if UV becomes available in a future area.

It will be years but I think Sat TV is at its peak and on its way down. Their only long term customers are rural customers. As Fios, Uverse, Dorcis 3, and wireless upgrades come on line with bundled packages Sat TV has less and less to offer. I think we will see Dish and Direct do what Sat radio did merge. If the Gov starts pushing broadband delivery the telco and cable companies are going to do what was done in Powell, WY. The smaller towns are going to go fiber.
