Anyone notice forum changes?

I noticed now the last thread posted to in the info for each forum, is actually readable now!

Replaced the light gray color for black. Looks good OP.

Not sure if this is new but, you can click on that info and go straight to the the post.  Never tried it before so not sure if it is new.

Hey guys, good eyes! We got the latest and greatest version of the Lithium software last night. The PM upgrade was much needed as we now can use the WYSIWYG editor (the same one we use for posting) with PMs! There are a few others that I will be discussing with at&t about turning on new features. Keep your eyes open!

That's cool. Op, do you know why the AT&T Wireless forum still has the really old WYSIWYG editor version? Is that just how special we are that we get the newest ones?

I'm not really sure. For one I'm fairly certain they don't have the version we do, I think they are one step behind, but I really couldn't guess why they don't.

I just noticed something cool. If you edit a message, below the text box it shows you the original post and the post it was originally replying to.

UPDATE: The black posts below the board names are getting annoying. It makes it harder to tell if the board name is bold or not.

You can turn thoe off or on in your profile. If you go to Preferences and search Latest it should show Latest Thead and Latest Message options and you can set to show or not.

Yep, that works for me as long as the message board name (in blue) is bold.

Well after a day of using it, I like the new updates. They are relatively minor, but the do come in handy. Now if only they would re-enable FF's inline spell checker...

Safari users can't use the emoticons (at least this user can't) and we still can't do any formatting as it gets removed due to "invalid HTML"

The other features are cool, though.  ;-)

I just noticed something cool. If you paste a URL, the forum now automatically makes it a hyperlink. So much easier now.

I thought it always did that (in IE); never works in Safari, and I don't think it would work in FF?

It was supposed to do that (probably did before the upgrade) but for some reason it was defaulted to off so I'm thinking during one of the last upgrades someone in the backend set to default off. But I turned it back on a couple of weeks ago.

It has almost always done that for me from the start. (using the graphical editor)

Really? I remember when I first came here I always had to highlight it and make it clickable. I only noticed by accident just now.

It depended on the browser, IE will automaticly do it. FF didn't like to and neither did Safari. Now that I enabled it, it should do it for most browsers.

I have used IE 99% of the time, so that is most likely why.

When I first came here I used to use IE, but then shortly after I switched to FF. So I guess I never used IE on this site long enough to see it.

I used IE when I first came here also.  I now use FF and I tried pasting threads in my posts but they were unclickable.  I stopped trying after awhile.  I have to try it again sometime.

Well, it works for me with FF, but I can't honestly say if I recall whether it did before or not. Just never used FF that much on this forum....or elsewhere for that matter.
