Thanks for the info. Chris. "MyWOT" seems to require registering with name and address to create an account in order to use the app. I haven't read the whole article yet. Will do so this evening. I wish there was a way to examine suspect E-mail messages without opening them. Got one today. Weird subject and I did not recognize the name of the sender so I did not open it. Just deleted it. My curiosity was killing me but I resisted the temptation.![]()

Do you use something like outlook Phil? If you do, you can right click the message and click properties to see the message header. There you will see how it was routed and the IP of the sender. Just remember whatever you use, having the preview pane/window up is just the same as opening the message.

Well....I don't use a preview pane. It was just one of many E-mails in the list of unread messages. I just deleted it from the list.
Most of the time I use the Yahoo/AT&T Mail app. But sometimes I use Windows Live Mail which is very similar in operation to Outlook. I used to use Outlook Express exclusively but these days I tend to use it primarily for those occasions when I want to insert an image into the body of the message rather than attaching it. That is not possible with the Yahoo/AT&T Mail app. but it IS possible with Windows Live Mail. It has some other interesting features that I'm just now beginning to discover.
