Does Android have a future.....over the long run? I thought maybe some of you might find this article interesting. It's not short....but a good read.
A Veteran – whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve – is someone who, at a one point in his/her life, wrote a blank check made payable to ‘The United States of America’, for an amount of “up to and including his/her life.” ...Author Unknown

Who knows what will happen? I can't predict that iThingies won't fall one day, too. I've been through too many of these devices/media (and so have you), and we've seen them come and go. ![]()
Now I know Android was in possible trouble with Apple before Jobs died; I think it was about the one button on/off.
I've never had an Android device, but I don't like how you have to hack your device to get the latest OS! It sounds like that is controlled by your carrier, and it's their decision to roll out an upgrade. Probably not cost-effective and hoping people will upgrade to a new device with the latest OS.
Remember when buying an electronic device was SIMPLE?!!!
