Hi everyone and thanks for taking the time to read this and give me any information you have. I have an iPhone, and on my account, my boyfriend has a Motorola Atrix. He uses a lot of data that is "internet/medianet" but claims to never go on the internet. We have a family plan with unlimited texting, so I am wondiering if he is sending text messages via "internet/medianet" and not through the usual text application. He uses A LOT of data and can not explain why. He used to text to a lot of people until he figured out I could see how many texts and to whom on the bill! If anyone knows about a way to communicate with other people, NOT e-mail though, as he never uses it, I would really appreciate it. I am ready to kick him to the curb, but have no real "proof". This would help a lot! Thanks so much for your thoughts and responses!

Instant messaging is like Yahoo Messenger or AOL Instant Messenger (AIM). There are also programs like Skype which can send texts via a Skype account, which uses data and won't show up in your text messaging records.
The bottom line is this - if you have this much of a trust issue with your boyfriend, just kick him to the curb (Dan Savage has a great, if not work safe, acronym for this).
