Yep I didnt till the 80s when Jump, Neutron Dnce, Fire and other hits made me dig deeper back in the pointer anthology. Reading June Pointers obituary in that link made me sad as if it just happened. Cant believe the passing years and how old the remaining Pointers must be today. I am sad

Yeah this thread is a hit, I enjoy all kinds of music, as you can tell by my Leif Garrett admission I'm glad you and Dcookie are sharing some of your fave songs, I'm always looking to expand my music knowledge cuz I'd get bored listening to the same genre of music. It's good to see you guys appreciate music they way you do. Rico and Dcookie do you guys mainly listen to rock songs or are there other forms of music you listen to? As for me while I clearly like rock music I also listen to rap, not so much the new stuff, and soulful R&B and Salsa y Merengue, techno, freestyle, reggae, etc etc.
in fact, this string allowed me to go to the best CONCERT yet and free (well sorta). You guys have a great music taste too. Me, my blood runs deep motown heritage, but stems into all facets past and present as you can tell. Now, I dont get too much into what I call the "bipolar series" thats extreme hardcore rap or its opposite , the twayyngiest of twangy country. But I do like country and rap. And I guess lynerd skynerd falls into suthernrock, rockabilly, or whatever but iiiiii likes!
