I just love Answertones, however I have to say this, and I hope at&t actually reads their forums. I don't mind paying the monthly fee to be able to use the service, and I don't mind paying for my purchases. What I do mind is the fact that your purchase is only valid for 365 days after which I would have to repurchase all of the tones I had bought. I pay $250 a month at least for my wireless account so you're making your money and then some off of me. I've only purchased 2 Answertones to date and would purchase MUCH, MUCH, MUCH more if it were not for my purchases expiring. I can't imagine I am the only one who holds back because of the expiration either. So I really hope in the future the expiration is removed. If that happened, you'd make a killing off me alone. Just food for thought.
On that note, does anyone out there know of an Answertone service outside of mediamall that would be more in line with what I'm wanting? If so the information would be appreciated, thanks!!

Ohhh... That's not the worst of it.
They've reduced the expiration of their Answer Tones™ from 1 year, to only 6 months.
And without reducing their price for them, they've basically, doubled it for a years length of use.
Can't seem to find that notice, informing us about it though.

I have previously enjoyed my answertone experience right up until the appcenter update. Before, I could go in and search for the tones I wanted by artist & song and now appears that you either like the tones they are offering or you are SOL. All of my tones have "expired" and I cannot locate them to re-purchase.
I hope AT&T reads this and realizes they made a mistake in completely changing the option to search for answertones not featured. I can't imagine them continuing to earn high dollars with the selections they do offer. ![]()

What is going on with the answertones? All of mine expired and now I can't get any more from the AT&T site. this is so bogus. I'm just gonna go surfing. Let me know if you find out anything.
Thanks man....

just a suggestion and I'm not sure if it will work but why not record a out-going message with a song playing in the background?
