Ringtones/Wallpapers

I heard about the site ZEDGE through this group last week.  I went there and tried to download some ringtones and wallpapers.  The message came back from them on my phone...follow this link.  I cannot do that on my phone.  Are there instructions on zedge to assist with downloading their stuff?  I tried to download 7 different items and none worked but it still cost me over 15.00 for nothing.

ANY assistance would be appreciated.

Zedge. Have you tried asking at their community section of the site?

gshock...ringtones from zedge are absolutely FREE!! I use that site ALL the time! How did it cost you $15.00?? The things with a lot of these sites is that, people click on things they shouldn't click on. On sites like Zedge or Funformobile, you SHOULD NOT click on anything that says "DOWNLOAD RINGTONES FOR ATT" or any of that stuff. All you need to do is search for what you are looking for and take it from there.

I would suggest if you are going to download ringtones/wallpapers from any site, you should get a data plan, even though it is not necessary. If you are unable to download them straight to your cell, due to not having a data plan, check Zedge from your computer. You MAY be able to download them to your computer and transfer to your memory card from your pc. 

Also, if you manage to download them, remember, some phones will only let you use a ringtone that is 300 kb or less.

I just got the LG GT550 and was able to get a ringtone from Zedge and I see the MP3 under the "My Stuff" folder.  I can play it but I have no idea on how to make it a ringtone? 

When I go into ringtones the MP3 from Zedge is not listed, only the AT&T pre-loaded rintones are listed.

I also tried to copy the file via my PC to the phone, but I do not see a "ringtone" folder where all of the pre-loaded ringtones are stored.

What I am doing wrong?
