I do not use an external email program, I use the AT&T server to store and send all my emails. Within the last two weeks, a graphic appeared in the lower corner of my outgoing emails. It is a picture (graphic, not photo) of a boy, wearing glasses and blowing heart-shaped bubbles. I have no idea where is came from or how to get rid of it. I contacted Yahoo, and they said it is an AT&T issue. I contacted AT&T email support but have had no reply. This is SO unprofessional looking! Is anybody else experiencing the same issue? HELP!

Hello there pdv,
I extend my gratitude to you for contacting us about this issue through the forums and please, accept my sincere apologies for any inconvenience that you have experienced. With regard to the issue on hand, don't' worry; I know it's frustrating but we're taking this matter seriously. If I'm not mistaken, it shows up on your outgoing email, right? If that's the case then It could be an attached graphic signature configured on your end. It's like a signature, only it shows up a graphic picture of a boy. Please Go into your emails, click on options at the top right then choose more/mail options. You'll see there signature at the left side. Click into that and you'll have two radio buttons. See if the second button is clicked saying show a signature on all outgoing messages with a big box below it. If it is enabled then look in the box for signatures and codes attached that presents the graphic picture. You can just disable it by clicking the first button saying do no use a signature; then save changes at the top. Try to make some test mails then. If you still get any trouble please give us a ring.

Nope. I had already looked at that. " Do not use a signature" is checked. I clicked on it again and clicked save just to make sure, but the graphic is still there. I noticed several weeks ago (approximately the first of May) that emails I receive from another bellsouth customer began to have this graphic. I did not think anything about it until they appeared in mine.

Hi pdv,
Thank you for bringing this to our concern and I apologize for the inconvenience you encountered. With regard to your email concern, since you've verified that the graphics is not part of your signature. We would need to check on some settings on the email. It might be that this problem is part of the "stationary feature" selected for your mail. When you create a mail, kindly check on the top right portion and see if you have there an option to select a stationary background. There would be pictures on that list, try to choose none and see if that would resolved this issue.

HOORAY! That took care of it. I had clicked on that before but did not notice the icons/graphics on the right side. I must have put it on there inadvertently. THANK YOU!!!
