OK So this is my talk with a representitive that just now happened so I hope this helps.
jessica: ok and my question is when I down load one of the games from the market place does it use my data when I play it? for example I have the mystery games where you gotta find hidden objects does it use my data usage when i am playing it
Bradley S.: That depends, if it doesn't have to go online for updates or multi player then no. Some games that have a multi play like a Texas Hold'em game that will use data because you are playing agents other players. If that isn't the case it probably won't use any data unless they release an update to the game itself that you would have to download.
jessica: ok so games only use data when you
1. download them
2. update them. and
3. play online correct?
Bradley S.: That is correct.

Thanks
It would be great if it was true but I've proof that he is wrong. The game I downloaded would not start up once I'd switched out my sim (that had data plan) with my son's tht does not. If I put my sim back in it works fine.
I would be fine with this if I could actually tell which games did this but there seems to be no way of telling.
Thanks for trying :-)
