I get an error message when I try to record or change channels: The DVR is working. Please try again later. This happens with 2 DVRs. I have tried powering off and back on to reset the DVR in 1 room but problem persists. I'm new to U-verse, so I may be doing something wrong. I appreciate any help you can give.

It just means that the DVR is still processing your last command. Just wait a moment then try your new command again.

Thanks, TexasGuy 37, but no, that doesn't apply. I waited for 30 minutes and still got the same response. This has happened several times, I have reset DVR several times and tried to record, got the same message, left it alone and did other things for 30 minutes to an hour, and the DVR is still "working" and I should try again later.

When I see this message, it only lasts for a minute. If you are seeing this for a longer period of time, you might have an issue.
Can you download and install SomeJoe's tool at the link below?
http://www.uverserealtime.com/
Once you install the tool, please post screenshots of the following tabs: IP/Profile, Error Table, Bitloading, & Coax/HPNA.
We can take a look at the screenshots to see if there appears that you might be an issue with your system.

You might try rebooting all your boxes to get them in synch. Also, you have only one DVR. The big one. The other STBs have DVR functionality over the network, which may be your problem. It is best if the DVR is connected to the RG by cat5.
Check all your coax connections for tightness.
Pul the electrical plug on RG, DVR, STBs. Plug in the RG & wait for green lights. Plug in the DVR and watch for program on TV. Plug in the rest of the STBs.
If you still have a problem you will need to call in for testing & possible box teplacement or tech visit.

Thanks so much for your help. An ATT person came out, and the problem was something faulty in the phone line before it reached my house, which made it necessary to reprogram the DVR. It's working now.
