At first, when I go to find a recorded show, it has a message that says the list is not available. I can no longer record, either. At the same time, the internet on my computer (close to the DVR box) will not work.
I then switched out the box to a smaller one from another room and the internet came back on, but of course, I still couldn't record because it wasn't the DVR box.
I saw in a forum where you could a "disaster recovery" by holding thePower button, the OK button and the Down Arrow and it would run through a process. (I actually saw it somewhere that said the Up Arrow, and I tried that, as well.) So, I hooked the DVR box back up but that never worked. All I got was a single gear that would turn into an orange X and nothing else...for at least 45 minutes...then I unhooked it and put the smaller box back on so I could contact AT&T.
Do I just need a new DVR box? How do I go about having someone bring it to my home?
