OK...last night I was watching one live HD stream on the DVR box (COM CENT-HD) and recording another live HD stream at the same time (USA-HD) obviously on the DVR box.
In another room, one of my family members attempted to tune to another live HD stream (CBS-HD) on an STB and they received an "all HD streams in use" message and were unable to tune that channel until the HD recording finished.
Two other STBs in the house were off / in sleep mode.
Why is this? By my count that should have only been 3 HD streams in use at the same time and I thought that was fine.
Here's my system info from the DVR box if it will help:
Streams: 4 SD/3 HD (WAN); 4 SD/3HD (Ingress)
Bandwidth Cap: 35960400 (WAN); 35960400 (Ingress)
Egress Profile: 20000000, 0 SD / 3 HD
What's the problem here? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Download Uverse Realtime here and when this happens again look at the channels/stream tab. It will tell you the channels/streams being used and by which DVR/STB. From your profile you should be able to watch/record up to 3 HD streams.

Is it possible that one of those 2 un-viewed STB's may actually have been left on?
Also, I notice that you have the 7 live stream profile. Where are you located?

The only one that MIGHT have been left on was the one in the bedroom...but it's SD only so not sure it would have had any kind of effect even if it was accidentally on.
I am located in Lexington, SC.

OK...got UVRT fixed...everything looks as it should from what I can tell.
I did notice that somehow the SDTV in the bedroom got tuned to an HD channel and was actually showing it albeit in a small sqaure box in the center of the screen...I did not even think that TV could show an HD channel at all but lo and behold there it was.
But anyway...I am pretty sure that STB was off last night so I'm still not sure how that could have affected things and caused the issue we were having.

If you are home, try to recreate the same scenario as last night. You can see what channels are in use on which receiver on the Channels/Streams tab.
By the way, you can tune to any channel in your subscription on any TV whether it is an HD or SD channel.

Thanks BeeBee.
And texasguy...I have been unable to recreate the issue...I did the same thing we were trying to do last night and it works now...so maybe that TV in the bedroom was tuned to an HD channel (even though it's an SDTV) and left on...although I'm still pretty dang sure it was off.
