Disney Junior has been advertising a new show called "Guess how much I love you, the adventures of Nutbrown Hare." This is nowhere to be found in the lineup. I searched by every word in the title and even tried recording the program in the lineup that appeared at the same scheduled time to see if it was simply titled incorrectly but that did not work. Even if I didn't have the correct channel subscriptions it should still come up as a program in the lineup. We watch Jungle Junction and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse every day so I know I'm looking in the right places!
The season premier of The Killing was supposed to be two hours and my DVR only recorded 60 minutes. Why is AT&T so much work for the customer? I want to set it and forget it, I thought thats what a DVR was for!!!

You may or may not know this:
There is one or two daily blocks of Disney Channel programming that is called "DIsney Junior," which replaced "Playhouse Disney".
However, there is a new channel called "Disney Junior" that began airing on March 23rd. AT&T U-verse has not yet negotiated carriage rights with Disney and does not carry this channel.
I believe the advertisement you're seeing may be for a program on the latter instead of the former.
As far the programming issue, sometimes AT&T's programming information vendor publishes bad information. Often, this is because they receive bad information from the providers. Sometimes a provider gets cute and runs two different one hour shows back to back (as shown on the schedule) but advertises it as one two-hour show. If you have series set up to record at the start time of the first (or second) hour, it will not recognize the other one-hour show as needing to be taped. I do not know what happened in your case, but anytime you see a "special" airing, I would check the DVR to verify it is recording what you want.
