Yesterday I recorded the NASCAR race and set the DVR (via STB) to start at 12:00 and then added 3 hours additional record time due to the rain delay. I was watching other live programming until the race started.
I then went to the recording (in progress) and fast forwarded to the beginning of the race (2 hours into the recording). I eventually ended up catching up to the point were I could not fast forward as I had reached the point where the DVR was recording the live action.
So when a commercial came on I was using the "last" button on the remote to switch me to the live channel of the US Open. I would watch that for a few minutes and then hit the "last" button to take me back to the recorded NASCAR race. I would then FF thru the commercials to get to the race again. I did this successfully multiple times.
Then at the point where the regular timed shut off (3:30) was and it was now recording the extra 3 hours I had asked for, everytime I performed the above procedure like before it would take me to the beginning of the recording 12:00 and I would have to FF back to the part I originally left at. I could duplicate the issue everytime but again only after the original shut off time of 3:30 was passed and I was into the extra 3 hours.
Anyone else seen this behavior before?

BeeBee might be time for a DVR reboot if not done recently.
Here I sucessfully jumped back/forth from live TV to the recorded race during the extra 3 hours I had set-up w/no problem. Of course I had rebooted the DVR less than a week ago. ![]()
Edit: Have seen it do that on any recording if I go to live TV and jump back to the recording very quickly, it goes to the beginning and have to FF thru.
