You only have one dvr, the other box is your set top box. First do a soft reboot of your dvr by pressing and holding the power button until the lights blink. After it reboots do the same thing with your stb. Then try watching a recording from your dvr from the stb. Post back and let us know what happens.

Actually, you only have one DVR. The other boxes are regular receivers.
Try restarting the DVR and each of your regular receivers.

We just had a tech out yesterday and he re booted the whole system. I did not use the dvr until today when I wanted to watch my recordings on our big set in the great room. My wife's tv in her day room does list all our recordings. Why isn't my box working like hers? How do I configure my box so it shows all our recordings. Last night I hit the red record button on the remote and it did record but the red light that usually comes on the front of the box did not. I did check my wife's box and the recording was there???" I am confuse and never had this issue before....

Unplug the power cable from the stb for 30 seconds and reconnect it. This will cause the software to be redownloaded into it. Before you do that check to make sure the coax cables are tight on the back of it. That is if you have a cable installation. If they are tight and you unplug the ac cable. After 30 seconds reconnnect it. I got that same message on one of my stbs and checking the cable and doing the hard reboot . Afterwards I was able to watch the recordings on the dvr.
