Scheduling a series, but not all episodes are captured

The new season of Masterchef is coming up.  Four new episodes are on the guide, but no matter how I try to set up the series, it will only program 3 to record.  Usually when this happens I can select the 2nd or 3rd episode to set it up and it grabs them all.   I even tried WRA.  They all have the right date.  I can't figure this one out. 

First episode is on 6/4, channel 8 KTXL

Again on 6/5, then 6/11 and 6/12

Can someone else try to set up the series and see if all 4 get scheduled?

Linda661 - Which date was bad? I used menu/search - saw the four dates hit series record on the first one & got 3 episodes - missing 6/11. Canceled the clicked on the 6/11 episode - again got a series that is missing 6/11. Must be something wrong with the listing for that date. Chan 1006 in CT.

That is the same thing that I got the first time.  So I cancelled the series, went back to the menu search and selected 6/11 and ask to record the series.  Now, I have the the 6/11, 6/4, 6/12, but not 6/5.

It's not the first time this sort of thing has happened.  Like I said, I can usually get them all if I keep trying different dates.  Not this time.  I notice lately that some of my reruns are skipping episodes (Law and Order, Bones, Top Chef)  Not as upsetting unless I was waiting for a particular rerun and it gets left off. 

I don't want to have to monitor the scheduled recording when I set up a series.

Do you  have it set-up as 1st run only?  The OADs are all screwed up, 6/5 + 6/10 have a 6/11 OAD.

I tried setting it up all ways......first only...first and reruns...any day/any time.  I thought maybe something was wrong with one of the episodes that would be corrected, so I cancelled all and tried setting up the series again yesterday.  Same.  So I selected the 6/11 episode and tried to just record individually and got a message that due to a last minute programming change I would have to set it up manually.  I think I had problems with Masterchef last year.  Weird.

You might try unplugging your DVR for about 30 seconds and then plugging it back in.  Once the reboot completes, try setting up the series again.

The reader before you pointed out that 2 of the episodes have the same date.  I think that's what is messing up.  I thought I had checked the dates as I know that can affect the recordings.  I'll just deal with the first few shows and hope that it straightens out.

I  see the same date issues with the local Fox affiliate here in Dallas.  I was able to set up a new series recording as "Any day, any time" and "First run only".  All 4 episodes were selected.  I then deleted that series recording and set up a new series as "Any day, anytime" and "First run & rerun".  Once again all 4 episodes were selected.  The date issue did not cause a problem.

Fox has had beaux coup OAD issues, this year.  First  "NASCAR in FOX" used last years dates (2011), so the dates were messed up.  Then it was American Idol's turn at crazyness.  Now Masterchef.  A Tier 2 told me that his Dish Network OAD were wrong to, for FOX, with American idol.

Edit - I believe that the OAD's are now fixed.

Well, not all fixed.  The 6/11 episode of H..l's Kitchen is dated 7/25/11.   So maybe just the 6/11 shows have errors.....or maybe someone doesn't like cooking shows.  I'm going to check all of my 6/11 programs.

I'd hate to be the person who has to check all of the dates.
