Some shows didn't record

Sunday night 4 of my regularly scheduled shows didn't record. I had checked them during the day and all were set to go. I had also scheduled a few movies. I looked to see if there would be an overlap problem, but didn't see one. I also thought that I would have gotten a message if I set up anything that would conflict. The shows scheduled for 7 pm and 10 pm recorded, but the ones scheduled for 8 pm and 9 pm did not. All of the movies recorded. I was afraid that my recorder was failing, but all has been ok. Would the movies have taken priority over my series shows? I can't figure out what could have caused it. Any thoughts? I really wish we had a recording history feature.

Pardon me for asking, but which shows on which channels were you trying to record, and was there a time where you had two or movies being recorded simultaneously between 7 and 11?

(At first, I thought it might have had something to do with Fox's schedule change on Sunday - originally, they had The Cleveland Show scheduled for 7:00, but moved the scheduled The Simpsons episode back to 7 so they could air the Simpsons episode with Elizabeth Taylor as Maggie at 8 - but it sounds like you are describing four hour-long shows.)

Another question: is there a chance that the 8:00 and 9:00 shows were repeats, and you still have the first airings of those particular episodes? I have also had recording "problems" with this sort of thing.
