Well, week two starts in the THDVR release. So far no known new markets added today. Have we've been IKED'd out? "Full" rollout by EOY '08. I don't see it happening at this rate. BTW, notice the update channels (400, 1000, 1100) message reverted to Saturday's messege? Yep, we've been IKE'd out.

I had to power down the entire system for mine to go to 2 HD/4SD, but this was after I had phoned and asked as I was told I would have it from day one. Tech support fixed then had me unplug everything for a minute. When I was back up and running it's been fine ever since.

I can't find the place in my account online where it's located, so I'll have to take a photo of my tv system resources and post that unless someone can tell me where this type of info is found. Any help there??

For what it's worth, I called tech support about WHDVR and was told that it will be rolled out in Ohio starting November 3 with a target completion date of November 22. The first person I spoke with had never even heard of WHDVR, but the supervisor seemed a little more knowledgeable. Time will tell.

Take that info with a grain of salt. The salt will probably have more of tangible affect than the information will.

I talked to tech support today. I had an issue with my DVR. I asked when THDVR would be available in the Dallas area and I was told that it would be later this week. The CSR seemed to be reading it from a memo that had just been released to them recently.

My neighbor just got U-voice installed today with a tech and 2 managers at the install (probably cause its so new to the Chicago market) and was told we should see THDVR by early OCT here (Chicago). HMMMM...

I will belive it when I see it but you never know, my service has been going out and being goofy at night a lot lately.

As far as I know, there is no way to access that from your account online.

Do you have a digital camera or one you could borrow?

Take a picture of the TV screen that shows the 2HD/4SD profile and then post it here.

MY APOLOGIES EVERYONE!!!

After my post yesterday I checked out the specs and it is not as I claimed. It reads '2HD/2SD'...my confusion stems from being told I could record four SD shows simultaneously (which I haven't tried, therefore I don't claim that that's true).

No problem dan, it happens.

You can record 4 SD shows simultaneously, but that is using up all 4 of your streams. To be able to watch TV while doing that, you would need to watch one of the channels that is already recording.

RC: if the 2HD/2SD profile is a software update what is the TC Client Version release? I haven't seen anything beyond 1.2.430048.3. THDVR is 1.6.........

I hadn't heard that it had changed after people got the 2hd streams, so as far as I know it is the same for the 1hd/3sd and the 2hd/2sd streams.

RC, there was no firmware update for the 2HD streams, but there will be one, going to 1.6xxx with THDVR.
