U-verse DVR Web Site Won't Delete Shows

Hi,

This has been a problem for me for a while now, but my first chance to get here and report it.

I use the AT&T U-verse DVR website often to schedule programs to record, see what I have recorded and remove scheduled programs and series from the scheduled list if I change my mind. All works great.

However, while I used to be able to, I can no longer DELETE shows on my DVR from the web site. It will show a correct listing of recordings. I can select what I want to delete, hit delete, get confirmation and see the shows disappear from the web site list of my DVR recordings... but when I sit down and use my DVR the "deleted" recordings are still there.

If I sign back into the web site, they are back.  I can "pretend" to delete again, the site says it has and still no real deleting on the DVR. However, stuff I tell it to record online or not record is fine. It happens.

I used to be able to delete. I used it all the time. In fact, I prefer to use the web site to clean up my DVR as it's faster... but no longer really does anything on the DVR itself.

Any ideas?

What you are describing is a known issue that has existed for several months.  You cannot delete more than 1 recording at a time using the Web Remote Access.  There has been no word as to when this might be fixed.

Gosh, I am sorry!  I even did a search for headlines like mine and found nothing.

No idea when it will be resolved??? Sounds like the U-verse TV Android app that is still not released for ICS!

You can do the following from the TV:

1. Press the RECORDED TV button

2. Select the recording or group you want to erase and press the DELETE and OK button

When you say only 1 at a time, does this mean deleting one, then closing the window, then going back in a deleting another?  I have about 9 shows that only show on the Web interface, but are obvously still on my DVR as the percentage of used space doesn't match what I really have on my DVR if I look through the TV.  The probloem is the shows won't delete through the Web interface.

If there are programs listed on the Web Remote Access (WRA) but are not listed on your DVR, reboot your DVR.  After the reboot completes check the WRA again to see if the programs have disappeared.
